Founded in 1997 by David Lewis and Chris Biggers, Trulane is geared for projects ranging from $50,000 to $5 million. Within this niche, we offer a unique combination of advantages - the close, personal working relationship of a small company, plus the advanced management capabilities of much larger firms.
Our small company feel begins with accountability. The people who start each project are the ones who finish it, and the lines of responsibility are short. Our principals are involved on a daily basis, so decisions don't have to wait for an okay from some distant corporate office.
Our combined experience of 42+ years in the commercial construction industry has helped us develop sophisticated management systems that can be adapted to any client's specific needs, regardless of project scope.
Leadership Bios
Chris Biggers - PresidentChris Biggers has over twenty five years of experience in the commercial construction industry, beginning as a site engineer for M.B. Kahn in Columbia SC, upon graduation from Clemson University in 1985 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Science and Management. Beginning in 1985, his primary duties at M. B. Kahn included on site construction management for a $14.5 million high school in Winnsboro SC. Following M. B. Kahn he pursued a career path in York SC working in his fathers' real estate company, where he gained development experience and expanded his management skills. Chris brings his passion and love of construction to Trulane where he continues to foster a culture of highest integrity and honesty founded in his Christian faith and values. In April of 2011, Chris assumed 100% ownership of Trulane General Contracting and responsibility for all construction operations.
